Register as a private or business owner

You can register your boat in two ways; the owner being an individual from any country or you can choose to register your boat under a holding company. If you choose to register as a holding company, we will set up a Delaware LLC company for you. We can set up the LLC for you in 48 hours for a fee of 820 euros and you will only have to pay the low annual maintenance fee of 600 € after the first year. If you are using the LLC only as the company that owns your boat, there will be no taxes payable.

What documents are required for registration in Delaware?

The paperwork to set up property in Delaware is very simple:

OPTION 1 - Individual private property
  1. Fill out our form
  2. Provide us with a copy of a notarized deed of sale
  3. Optional : if your boat has already been registered under another flag - then we need a copy of the current registration or deletion certificate
  4. Optional : if your boat is new, we need a copy of the certificate of origin.

OPTION 2 - Ownership under your LLC company
  1. Fill out our business setup form - we'll set up a Delaware LLC for you within 24 hours
  2. We will then provide you with a bill of sale that you sell your boat to your own LLC
Then the paperwork is the same as for private property:

  2. We already have a copy of your bill of sale as you sold it to your LLC

We can also arrange MMSI radio license

As you probably know, it is mandatory by law to have a MMSI radio license on board your vessel at all times, so we strongly recommend that our customers obtain it when requesting your vessel ownership document. Having an MMSI license on board avoids problems when you are verified by local authorities.

You don't need to take a course to receive the license, all we need is some information about you and your vessel which can be filled out on our order form. Fill out the form, make the payment and on the same day you have an MMSI radio certificate for your vessel valid for all countries in the world.

We offer MMSI licenses issued by the US and UK governments. Both have no restrictions on your nationality or under which flag your vessel is registered and are valid for 10 years. It only takes us 1 day to get your license.

What type of MMSI license do I need for international waters?
If you are using your vessel in international waters (even the Bahamas or Canada) you will need an international MMSI license. In order to obtain an MMSI license valid worldwide and valid in all international waters, you have 2 options:

License issued by UK Telecom with a boat registration (310 €):
We can also offer you a worldwide MMSI issued by the UK Telecom Authorities. This official radio license will be valid for use with a VHF, AIS and EPIRB on your boat AND IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT FLAG YOU ARE CURRENTLY REGISTERED WITH.

License issued by the US FCC 550 €:
We can also offer you an MMSI issued by the US authorities of the FCC Telecom. This official radio license will be valid for use with a VHF, AIS and EPIRB on your boat AND IS VALID FOR US SHIPS ONLY.
